diy and decor
At the heart of promoting products and services that help to create beautiful homes and interiors is inspirational content, where imagery and video play the leading role. The supporting words can enthuse, instruct or even warn of DIY or interior decoration pitfalls.
The Little Details Company provide bespoke wedding service and reception venue décor services and in 2019 they had sights set on growth in both Northamptonshire and Hampshire. They wanted a website that reflected their high-end and little details-focused offering, so we redeveloped the logo and a brand aesthetic.
This brand feel was more recently translated into a décor catalogue, styling brochure and styling plan; crucially TLDC needed to regularly update these documents, so we utilised Power Point rather than design software to create and populate static and editable templates.
leading uk flooring supplier
Through the flooring manufacturer and supplier’s SEO and social media agency, we were asked to go through a strategy and story ideation process to create a calendar of news stories and alerts as well as thought leadership content aimed at homeowners. Coverage targets were also heavily informed by the goal of increasing the website’s search presence, so we focused on gaining links from authoritative websites.
One tactic we used was to create and deploy a survey and the results of which were analysed to create a series of consumer news stories revealing homeowners’ opinions; from views on partners’ DIY skills to preferring a free home makeover to a trip round the world.
